Ruggable ist “Der originale waschbare Teppich®”, was meine Erwartungen bereits hoch ansetzte. Wenn du der Erste im Rennen bist, solltest du auch der Beste sein, oder? Ich beschloss, die Probe aufs Exempel zu machen und meinen eigenen Teppich zu bestellen, und so ist es gelaufen…

1. Design & Größenauswahl

Ruggable scheint Optionen für jeden Raum und jede Fläche in meinem Haus zu haben (einschließlich Teppiche für den Außenbereich, die in der Vorschau oben nicht abgebildet sind). Die meisten anderen Anbieter, die ich kenne, bieten höchstens Teppiche bis zu einer Größe von 245 x 305 cm an, aber ich habe einen ziemlich großen Raum und war angenehm überrascht, als ich die Option 275 x 365 cm sah.

Noch beeindruckender als das, war die große Vielfalt an Designs. Die Auswahl reicht von Boho über geometrische Muster bis hin zu Teppichen für Kinderzimmer und Kooperationen mit Künstlern wie Jonathan Adler. Ich kann mir wirklich nicht vorstellen, dass jemand nicht den passenden Stil für seinen Raum findet.

Alles in allem hat mich das Universum dazu gebracht, den Cynthia Rowley Suzani White Rug zu kaufen.

2. Versand & Lieferung 

Hier gibt es nicht viel zu sagen, außer dass alles rechtzeitig geliefert wurde, die Sendungsverfolgung während des gesamten Prozesses verfügbar war und die Ware in einer hübschen Box bis an meine Tür kam.

3. Montage

Ich war etwas besorgt über diesen Teil, da ich gerade einen riesigen Teppich bestellt hatte und mein Mann und meine Kinder nicht zu Hause waren, um mir beim Auslegen zu helfen. Aber das zweiteilige System von Ruggable war tatsächlich ein Kinderspiel.

Das erste Teil ist die rutschfeste Unterlage, die unter dem leichten Teppich liegt und ihn (und somit auch dich) in Position hält. Die rutschfeste Unterlage fühlte sich an wie eine hochwertige Yogamatte und der Bezug war superweich und tatsächlich sehr leicht. 

Nachdem ich meine Möbel ein wenig verschoben hatte, war der Teppich an seinem Platz und sah einfach fantastisch aus.

4. **DER TEST**

Endlich, der Moment der Wahrheit. Ist Ruggable tatsächlich “100% maschinenwaschbar, wasser- und schmutzabweisend”, wie sie behaupten? Um meine journalistische Integrität zu wahren, nahm ich meinen grünen Saft, weinte innerlich ein bisschen und schüttete ihn auf meinen brandneuen Teppich. 

Der leichte Bezug ließ sich unglaublich leicht abnehmen und passte, obwohl es die größte angebotene Größe ist, perfekt in meine Waschmaschine. An diesem Punkt geriet ich ein wenig in Panik. “Würde der Fleck rausgehen?” “Würden die Farben verblassen?” “Würde er seine babyweiche Beschaffenheit verlieren?”

Aber als ich den Bezug aus der Wäsche zog, sah er BRANDNEU aus.  “Wo sind die Flecken hin?” “Ist das derselbe Teppich?” ” Will mich jemand veräppeln?” 

Es schien zu schön, um wahr zu sein, und doch bin ich jetzt, viele Wäschen später, immer noch begeistert von meinem Ruggable. Er ist zweifellos die beste Anschaffung, die ich bisher für mein Zuhause getätigt habe und hält Kindern, Haustieren, der Familie und dem Leben stand.

Ruggable is The Original Washable Rug®, which already set my expectations high. If you’re the first to the game, you should play it the best, right? I decided to put it to the test and order my very own, and here’s how it went…

1. Design & Size Choice

Ruggable seems to have options for every room and space in my house (including outdoor rugs, not pictured in the preview above). Most other rug companies I’ve seen only go up to 245x305cm at best, but I have a pretty large space and was pleasantly surprised to see the 275x365cm option.

Even more impressive than that was the wide variety of designs. They have everything from boho and geometric to rugs for kids’ rooms and collabs with artists like Jonathan Adler. I truly can’t imagine someone not finding a style that works for their space.

All in all, the universe compelled me to buy the Cynthia Rowley Suzani White Rug.

2. Shipping & Delivery 

Not much to say here other than everything came in a timely manner, tracking was available throughout the whole process, and it came to my door in a cute box.

3. Assembly 

I was a little worried about this part considering I had just ordered a massive rug, and my husband and kids were not home to help me lay it out. But Ruggable’s proprietary two-piece system was actually a breeze to set up.

The first piece was the nonslip rug pad that sits underneath the lightweight rug cover, holding it (and you) in place. The nonslip pad felt just like a high-quality yoga mat and the cover was super soft and, in fact, very lightweight. 

After some minor sweat moving my furniture around, the rug was in place and it looked amazing.

4. **THE SPILL TEST**

Finally, the moment of truth. Is Ruggable actually “100% machine-washable, water-resistant, and stain-resistant” like they claim? In an effort to maintain my journalistic integrity, I took a my green juice, cried a bit inside, and dumped it on my brand new rug. 

The lightweight cover was incredibly easy to remove and, even though it’s the largest size offered, it fit perfectly fine in my washing machine. At this point, I was panicking a little. “Would the stain come out?” “Would the colours fade?” “Would it lose its baby-smooth softness?”

But when I pulled the cover from the wash, it looked BRAND NEW.  “Where did the stains go?” “Is this the same rug?” “Did someone just pull a prank on me?” 

It seemed too good to be true, and yet, here I am, many washes later and still amazed at my Ruggable. It has been hands-down the best purchase I’ve made for my home to-date, withstanding kids, pets, family, life.

So the first Ruggable I ever bought was for my living room because I desperately needed some new decor.
