However, it does not contain Lemon Balm which is important to calming acne and inflammation in the body due to its antioxidant and antibacterial properties. As a result, it is not the best choice to target hormonal acne. 

HUM is formulated by RD nutritionists and also contains Dong Quai which has been used for centuries to help regulate hormone balance for women. 

Clearstem: Good For General Acne Concerns

Clearstem is a holistic acne treatment with clean ingredients. It is formulated with Vitamin A and Dandelion Root which help target clogged pores and help fight against dead skin cells and skin bacteria. However, Clearstem does not have the best ingredients to protect against hormonal acne specifically. As a result, Clearstem would be a better option for general acne concerns. It is dermatologist tested, but not developed by OBGYNs or doctors.
